If you're looking to heal your relationships with food and/or your body, you've come to the right place.

Can you relate to any of these?

You think about food all. the. time.

Calculating it. Counting it. Wondering when you can eat again and how much. Trying not to fantasize about all the foods you've deemed "off limits."

It's exhausting.

👉You're ready to enjoy food again - guilt free.

You look in the mirror and don't like what you see.

Your inner critic is in the driver's seat and no matter what you do your body is never enough.

You spend your days feeling insecure and scared to take up space.

👉You're tired of being at war with your body and are ready to make peace with the skin you're in.

Diets? Cleanses? Wellness hacks? You've tried it all.

You feel like a failure every time a diet doesn’t “work” and you blame it on your lack of willpower or lack of self-control.

👉You're ready to jump OFF the diet train and try something new.

You’ve been so concerned with your body and food that you’ve forgotten how to actually LIVE.

Your passions, your light, and your dreams have gotten dim.

You worry about food and your body so much that you can't show up fully for causes and relationships you care about.

👉Your soul was made for more than this and you know it. You’re ready for a change.

A few examples of what we can work on:

  • Learn to recognize diet-culture around you and unlearn the oppressive rules that dictate how you eat and move

  • Become aware of old stories you have about your body

  • Increase your appreciation for your body

  • Notice when and why you're eating

  • Learn new coping skills to use instead of (or in addition to) turning to food

  • Explore the impacts of weight stigma and anti-fatness in your life and the world around you

  • Getting in touch with your authentic self and distinguishing what you want vs. what society says you 'should' want or how you 'should' behave

  • AND SO MUCH MORE (seriously, these are just a few examples that came to mind, but the topics I cover with my clients are broad!)

Pricing:

$90-$125 per session

I offer coaching via a sliding scale model and trust that you'll take your privilege and financial wellness into consideration when deciding what to pay.

Some areas I specialize in:

👉Feelers - As a Highly Sensitive Person myself, I understand the intricacies of feeling deeply and experiencing big emotions (or suppressing them). Our work together will help you get reconnected to your body and emotions at a pace that feels safe for you.

👉Helpers - Many of my clients are coaches, therapists, social workers, dietitians, teachers, or other helping professionals. You have a big heart, a desire to serve, and you don't want to perpetuate diet-culture in your own line of work. I'm here for you! This is a space to work through your own struggles and biases so you can ultimately serve your clients from a place of inner peace and greater self-awareness.

👉Dancers and performers - Having danced my whole life and performed musical theater professionally, I'm all-too-familiar with the pressures and strains the dance industry puts on artists' bodies. If you're looking to heal your relationship with movement or recover from years of distorted body image brainwashing, I'm here for you.

👉Raising intuitive eaters (parent coaching) -  I've worked as a play therapist and have worked extensively with children and teens over the years in different settings. Working with the entire family system is a huge passion of mine. Whether we have family sessions or you want individual coaching to learn how to prevent or heal disordered relationships with food in your home, we can address all of that together.

What clients are saying:

"Before working with Chelsea, I spent so much time (basically my whole life) worried about calories and my reflection in the mirror. Hearing that there was another (more joy-filled) way to approach food and body thoughts was intriguing to me.

Now, I can go to a restaurant and pick the menu item I want rather than what I “should” have. If I feel full, I can stop without clearing my plate, but if I’m still hungry, I can get seconds without guilt. "

— Supercool anti-dieter

"I no longer fear food or food events, I haven't had disordered behaviors in how long????? I'm more accepting and appreciative of my body and what it does for me. I am able to recognize hunger and comfortable fullness and no longer think about food or eating 24/7.

Working with Chelsea was very easy. She was flexible and never judged what I said. She always had some great sound advice and tactics to try. She was always a calm voice of reason in the storms and always my biggest cheerleader."

— Supercool anti-dieter

"I am so much happier now that I've released diet culture beliefs, rules, and restrictions and feel so free. I have one cool ass beautiful body and I do not need to be a certain shape or size to be and feel beautiful! I am allowed to eat foods I like without feeling shame or guilt.

This coaching has completely transformed the way I view myself and Chelsea led me down the path of food freedom! She also advocated for me and has helped me grow tremendously."

I'd be more than happy to get to know you more and explore the best, next step for you. I am very well connected to therapists, dietitians, and ED treatment centers all over the US and will refer you to someone else if my coaching isn't what you're looking for.

FAQS

Is there a time commitment?

No.  Healing takes time, but that amount varies greatly from person to person. Although I can give recommendations for how often we meet, you are in charge of this relationship and have full permission to set the frequency and duration of our sessions.

What if I’m currently battling an eating disorder?

I do not work with clients who meet criteria for a clinical eating disorder. I have a large network of ED treatment centers, therapists, and dietitians I've networked with, however, and would be happy to help you find the support you need.

Do you only work with women?

Nope! I work with cis and trans women, men, and non-binary folx.

Will you help me lose weight?

Having a desire to lose weight is a normal response to being saturated in diet-culture. However, having weight loss as a goal will interfere with your ability to truly heal your relationships with food and your body.

During our time together you may lose weight, gain weight, or your weight may stay the same. I'm here to support you in navigating any changes that arise and whatever emotions that brings up for you.

Do you offer sliding scale fees or take insurance?

Yes, I offer a sliding scale! No, I don't take insurance.

My goal is for mental health to be as accessible as possible. If money is a barrier to getting support, let's chat and figure something out.

I am fully booked with 1:1 clients. I'd encourage you to check out my free resources, read my blog, and hop on my email list to stay in the loop about future openings.
