Hi, I'm Chelsea
I remember making the decision to never diet again. Liberating? Yes. Terrifying? Yes. Lonely? OH YES.
I had ONE PERSON I could talk to about my thoughts and feelings… my therapist. 🤦♀️
But then I joined a group therapy program and my eyes were opened to the immense healing that can come from being seen and heard by others walking a similar journey as me.
Fast forward 7 years and I now have my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I get to LEAD this community- one of my greatest joys ever.
I created Soulfully You because too many of my 1:1 clients said “Okay great, I’ve done all this healing, but how do I make friends that have similar beliefs as me?”
Voila! The Soulfully You Community is your safe hub away from diet-culture full of kick-ass humans inside ready to meet you.
Together we’re giving diet-culture the middle finger, showing up as our authentic selves, and exchanging many virtual hugs. You in?

First, a LARGE percentage of our community members are introverts - including myself - so I wouldn’t call many of us “group” people. 😊
But the beauty of this community is that:
The members are the most kind, welcoming, accepting, non-judgmental, intuitive, sensitive, and supportive people I’ve ever met.
2. You get to participate in the community in whatever capacity serves you.
There is NO pressure to show up and be chatty on the community board.
If you don’t feel like socializing, there is no need for you to do so.
You can still get a ton of value from Soulfully You.

As for feeling safe, I closely monitor the community for any content that could be triggering such as the naming of numbers or specific foods.
This is a space for you to show up exactly as you are. The last thing I want is for you to feel pressured to participate in a way that doesn’t feel authentic!

Is this basically just a Facebook group?
Soulfully You has a lot in common with Facebook groups (there’s a main forum, you have a profile, and there are events, etc).
What makes it different is that it’s on its own membership platform, you control what you see - not an algorithm, and everything is in one place! No need to jump around from platform to platform, deal with the distractions of other groups, or fend off unwanted ads.
What if I’m currently battling an eating disorder?
You are welcome to join Soulfully You, however, please note that this is not a replacement for therapy or treatment. Please reach out to me if you need referrals for therapists or ED treatment centers near you.
In Soulfully You, everyone is at a different place in their healing journey. I make sure to closely monitor the group for common triggers and there’s no talk of ED behaviors, numbers, or specific foods allowed.
What if I know nothing about Intuitive Eating?
You are welcome here and encouraged to join!!
You don’t need to be familiar with IE, Health at Every Size, or Body Trust to join Soulfully You, as long as you’re willing to challenge and reject diet-culture.
I’ll give you all the tips and tools on how to do this in the group. You’ve just got to show up with an open mind and a curious spirit!
What is the time commitment of the program?
There is no amount of time you're required to commit to Soulfully You. Since it's free, however, I will monitor the group and remove members who have been inactive (haven't logged in at all) for 2 months.
Is this space just for women?
Soulfully You is a male-free space.
That means women (cis and trans) and non-binary folx are welcome here. This is an LGTBQ+ affirming space; if you have any questions about whether you'd be a good fit, don't hesitate to reach out!
There aren't enough words to describe how good it feels to have a community cheering you on.
Feeling like we belong is a basic human need.
And diet-culture can feel like a community at times. You find your Whole 30 and Keto buddies. You connect and bond over hating your body and feeling stressed about food.
But then you realize that you're actually miserable.
